Privacy Notice
Last updated: 15 July 2026
This notice explains how Better Stay Returns collects and uses your personal information when you contact us or visit this website, and the rights you have under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
1. Who we are
Better Stay Returns is a trading name of Paramaporn Treesorn, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. We are the “controller” of your personal data, which means we decide how and why it is used. For anything to do with your privacy, email us at hello@betterstayreturns.com.
2. The information we collect
- When you email us: your name, your email address, and anything you choose to include in your message.
- Automatically when you visit: our website host keeps technical logs that may include your IP address, browser type and the pages you view, in order to keep the site secure and running.
- No cookies or tracking: this website does not use cookies, advertising or analytics.
3. Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss working together — legal basis: our legitimate interests (responding to people who contact us) and, where relevant, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- To keep the website secure and functioning — legal basis: our legitimate interests.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We rely on a small number of trusted providers who process it on our behalf:
- Zoho — provides our business email, so it processes the messages you send us.
- Netlify — hosts this website and keeps the server logs described above.
5. Storing data outside the UK
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK, for example in the United States. Where they do, they are required to protect it using safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. You can ask us for more detail at any time.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails only for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any relationship that follows, and then delete them — typically no longer than 24 months after our last contact.
7. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your data;
- ask us to restrict or object to how we use it; and
- where relevant, ask us to transfer it (data portability).
To exercise any of these, email hello@betterstayreturns.com. There is normally no charge, and we will respond within one month.
8. Complaints
If you have a concern about how we handle your data, please contact us first so we can put things right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
